Composting center | Treatment of fermentable waste and sewage sludge transport
Our client, a major player in waste collection, contacted us to address one of their challenges. They use a process to treat fermentable waste through disintegration. This process avoids waste incineration and, more importantly, allows for its valorization.
During transport, the sticky waste adheres to the container. Cleaning the container completely afterward is very difficult and time-consuming. Another part of the waste becomes liquid and leaks from the container.
We proposed to our client to install a protective container inliner: PROTECSKIP® BIO, a biodegradable and compostable version of our original product. The plastic complies with the European standard NF EN 13432, which outlines the characteristics of packaging suitable for composting and biodegradation.
