SUEZ - SafeCover® Training

SUEZ is a group of industrial services and solutions specializing in sustainable resource management. SUEZ supports cities and industries in the circular economy to preserve, optimize, and secured essential resources for our future.

Our SafeCover® ground covering system provides a secured way to cover and uncover containers safely. It features a removable pole with a roller and a handling pole that make the installation and handling of the net and elastic easy. This system has been patented in France since 2003 and in Europe since 2004.

What was the issue ? : Need for a refresher training for the SafeCover® system.

Our client from the SUEZ group has been using SafeCover® since 2011.

The delivery of the SafeCover® covering system must be accompanied by specific training provided to drivers, the future users of the system. The duration of the training is approximately half a day for groups of six to eight drivers in pairs. The training is conducted by OTEXIO, an accredited training organization (eligible for the training budget).

Experience has shown that the most significant challenge involves the behavior of drivers and their A PRIORI concerns about the changes brought about by SafeCover® in their work routines.

It is therefore important to convince through the implementation of training and strong management involvement to drive the change.

In 2016, following the various system evolutions, we advised our client to conduct a new training session on SafeCover® for their drivers.

The operations manager shared the benefits of this new training: "Drivers found this refresher enlightening as they discovered a new method of folding the net during strong winds."
