WASTE TRANSPORT // press-container
In order to optimize the transport of waste such as paper, cardboard, green waste, etc., they are compacted using a press-container. This process reduces the waste volume, allowing for the transportation of a larger quantity. In the case of stationary press-containers, the compaction container is removable, and only the container is transported to the customer. This leaves the press-container mouth wide open, potentially allowing waste to escape.
How to reduce waste spillage during transport in a press-container truck?
To secured the transport of these containers, manufacturers typically provide steel metal bars as default accessories to retain the waste. These bars are heavy and easily bend, making them difficult to reuse afterward. The OTEXIO engineering department has developed two products to simplify and secured the compacting operation:

The compacting bar lock
Description: Made of Polymer, chamfered, and equipped with a steel manipulation handle (weight 4.5 kg) - Ø 40mm / length 2.5m. 10mm pin with a 100mm washer (for the side opposite to the handle).
The compacting bar lock is made of TEFLON (highly durable plastic), lightweight, and with no shape memory. Our bars come with a manipulation handle on one side and a perforated tip on the other end to pass through the waste. Once in place, the bar is securedd with a washer/pin assembly on the opposite side of the handle.
For optimal and secured use, we recommend placing two bars per press-container and using them only during transport.

The compacting cable lock
Description: Ø of the tips = 40mm - total length = 2.56m.
The compacting cable lock is the most flexible and durable product on the market for compacting accessories. Its flexibility allows for compacting in confined spaces, so the compaction container does not need to be moved to be locked. Like the bar, the cable is equipped with a manipulation handle to guide it through the waste and securedd with a washer/pin assembly.
The maximum force supported by a cable is 5 tons. For optimal and secured use, we recommend placing two cables per press-container and using them only during transport. We keep this reference in stock, available within 48 to 72 hours.
